Hobbit: Can you let me in peace till I've finished reading this French book, I'm nearly at the end and the hero's in danger and I want to see if he survives, being the hero and all..
Forest: Its a French book, everybody dies
Hobbit: Yes, this is why I need to read to the end..
....
...
..
Hobbit: Aha! Finished! And the hero survived and nobody died (except the murder victims)
Mum, overhearing: Must have been that book you said was translated from the Norwegian then, everybody dies in French books!
::giggle::
