hobbitblue: (russian (cheburashka))
Such a long tiring day of trying to do nothing (except the seizure, and bathing and dressing and eating) and I finally got to do the planned grammar work on the Anna Akhmatova poem, focusing on adjectives, cases and prepositions, with much pondering, reaching for dictionaries and little confusing notes to myself about "if this, then that.. so that must mean t'other". It was great fun and having been itching to settle down with this particular bit of study I enjoyed every minute of it... And its highlighted very clearly the things I need to brush up on and look into more closely, first time using my new dictionary so much leafing to the front to see what the abbreviations and layout meant, learning how to use one's tools takes a bit of effort too, it seems!

Happy sleepy language geek, mmm.
