Wednesday Wibbles
Apr. 6th, 2007 12:19 amSo, Wednesday wasn't so great - I felt pretty groggy first thing, managed to tease
polyphonia on MSN, which I'm sure she's been missing over the past week or so, and then got a shower and promptly had a fit. Grr.
Skipped the nap in favour of getting lunch, which just meant I had to nap even more when I came back upstairs, though was awakened around 6pm so we could go out and do the weekly shop, and then I was most glad mum made dinner, and that was it for me, basically, though I read more ebooks happily enough, oh and sorted out the snake, as he had got urate everywhere in his tank. I was mean and stole his log again to clean it and he positively *sulked* while it was absent, curled up right at the back of one of his hides and didn't venture out until all was as it should be and his log was back in its rightful place. Weird slitherer!
Forest in the meantime was being a real he-man, disassembling the sofa in his room with hammer and screwdriver and stanley knife, in much less time than anticipated, then clearing it all out and down to be taken away, and then vaccuuming and tidying and putting everything back in and basically doing all the work while I did, um, nothing at all. Oh, except provide coffee, I did that very nicely. I do other things nicely too but that's censored ::grin::
Oh, got parcels too, the Russian version of Harry Potter which has a lovely cover and the usual cheapish printed paper inside (always fascinating getting books from other lands, and seeing how they're presented), plus I'd sent back the carved bunny I got the other week as it was UGLY and so received in replacement a fabulous haemetite horse, soooooo lovely, mum already tried to steal it, but tis mine, all mine.
I nearly forgot, I played the recorder a wee bit, and then as I had no ill effects from playing a wind instrument, lost myself in the rich tones of my Native American flute for a while... do love that, despite how seldom I end up getting to spend time with it.
